Donatas Vasiliauskas is a Lithuanian painter, born in small town Anykščiai, Lithuania.
Drawing and painting have been his hobbies since early childhood, but now they mean much more for him. The goal of his life is to become a well known profesional artist. Donatas describes himself as an imaginative realism painter. It sounds very modern, right? However, he believes that it is possible to fuse modern thinking and technique which is aquired by studying old masters. Among his favorite artists is Rembrandt, Rubens, Michelangelo, Carravagio, del Sarto, Donato Giancola and Michael Whelan.
Donatas' works were exhibited in group exhibitions in London, New York and Vilnius.
Currently Donatas is studying in Kaunas, Lithuania, where his studio is
